Singing For Humans are a band brought together by a love of Back to the Future, Grunge, Anxiety, Air Jordans and China cymbals. Their songs are conceived on a couch in a flat in West Footscray, with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, some words scrawled on a notepad and a mind full of childhood memories of watching ABC’s ‘Recovery’.

The result is diverse yet cohesive; hook laden honesty in the form of 3 and a half minute songs that they describe as Sonic-Pop.

After a short series of recordings at Hothouse Studios with Craig Harnath, the band sent the resulting works to Jonathan Burnside (Melvins, Faith No More, The Sleepy Jackson) for mixing and additional production. These recordings were released as a 4 track self titled debut EP on 10'' vinyl. 

In the past 12 months the band has had the pleasure of sharing stages with friends including Them Swoops, Baptism Of Uzi, All The Colours, Dancing Heals and The Exploders.
