Biography:
Hi, I'm lisa luka and I've been behind the decks since summer 2020. Or rather, I sat there at first because I broke my leg at the time. However, that didn't stop me from performing at some smaller events or clubs. The years before you could meet me at all kinds of electronic festivals and since these were almost completely canceled last year, it was only a matter of time before I got off the dance floor behind the DJ desk. The music I play is mostly between 90 and 105 bpm. What I play is difficult to classify into genres, as I always choose my tracks based on my feelings and so my sets are sometimes very different, but always contain a lot of love. This podcast is a dreamy one, hope you enjoy it :)

Besides his @aka_tony project, Tony runs his own podcast series "aka-tapes & love is love" on Soundcloud. Since 2020 he is also curating "I am Boho" and "Down to Earth" podcasts for Planet Ibiza from Spain. Last but not least, he also plays a regular slot on radio GDS.FM Zurich.

It was Friday of Burning Man 2023, and the rain was coming down strong during that whole afternoon. There was absolutely no chance that the artists I had planned to play that day could show up, so one by one, the Treble Makers took over the booth. Right before sunset, I got called up. I wasn't feeling my absolute best, and I rarely play DJ sets anymore, but I felt like a man on a mission. The moment I plugged in my USB, I could see a little crack in the sky, between the mountains and the clouds, and I knew that even if it's just for a moment, the sun was coming...

The sun was followed by the most beautiful double rainbow I've ever seen, and one of the best parties Iv'e ever had the honor to curate music for.

This project was born out of a late-night, "toilet philosophy" discussion in a nightclub with two friends active in the tech house scene. We were reflecting on boring, disposable club music.
The EP was generated by AI as a raw, quick-fire response, but equal time was spent on the discussion as for making the actual music. It challenges the idea that musical legacy must be painstakingly produced to be serious. This is a testament to ideas over sterile production value.

This is a plea to the scene: Don't treat genuine emotions like waste.

For our second episode, we proudly present to you Daniel Steinfels. 

A DJ and Producer from Pforzheim, Germany that has releases on labels such as Neuzeit from Munich, Deep Electronics and Kollektiv LieBe e.V.

In 2015, he founded his own label Tonal., that showcases artists like Landhouse & Raddantze, Xanducero Yolanda Frei and Alaix Pulse. In the Summer of 2018,  Daniel will release a Compilation with tracks from Landhouse, Yolanda Frei, Christian Hülshoff, DISCOSHAMAN, Deep Ändi, Nijland Gerstenberg, Lütt Matten and many more Artists.

On this set, he delivers an exquisite performance that ranges from intelligent melodic techno to  downtempo-ambient gems. 

Kollektiv Liebe is dedicated to electronic music and boisterous celebration. Together, the association plans spacey events like the past Galactronica in the Fleischmarkthalle. There was not only techno and love but also art to see. The members talk about the socially distorted image of the scene, what is important to them in celebration, and why we all should embrace each other more often on the dance floor.

Enhancing your eyes, opposites attract. But it’s not an axiom. Megan King a.k.a. Lemonella is certainly the kind of DJ who explore ways of unifying the polarities of experience, using the full spectrum of emotional potentiality through music. Born and shaped in South Africa, the artist is unafraid of facing diversity in a subtle and elegant way, leading us to smooth transformation sequences, driving dancefloor bliss, as in a motion picture. Music is definitely her wheels. 

After a long year in Berlin she came back to Cape Town in order to visit her beloveds and then took inspiration from this homecoming, genuinely being more of herself than ever. Our 141th edition was mixed live during January’s Leo full moon eclipse in Cape Town, ranging from driving grooves to morphing synth moments, even exploring upbeat themes. Whatever worlds you travel to, Megan reiterates that the music is here to accompany you - to add a little skip in your step, a smile to your lips and a kiss on the heart as you navigate through the altogether lush and dreamy and terrifying jungles of your experience.
