DJ and producer, Terry Farley heads back to the 'second summer of love' and celebrates some of the biggest Acid House tracks, 25 years on.

Along with Andrew Weatherall, the duo started the now notorious Boy's Own fanzine in 1986, which commented on the slang, the parties, the tunes and the humour of the acid house days, and which also lead to the creation of the label Junior Boys Own. This imprint specialised in dance music and put out records by Orbital and Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers, which celebrates 15 years this year.

Terry began making productions with Andy Weatherall, Hugo Nicholson and Pete Heller under the name Bocca Juniors. He later teamed up with Pete Heller and has gone on to re-mix many of the world's leading artists and singers: everyone from U2 to New Order; to the Happy Mondays and Primal Scream at the height of Balearica. He has also produced Kylie Minogue, The Farm and M People.

7th instalment coming in from London based producer and selector, Elia Nafzger.

Elia has made serious movements on the London minimal scene in recent years displaying talent from both the studio and behind the decks. 

Aided by a string of unreleased material under his belt and underpinned by a soulful take on the minimal aesthetic, his sound ranges from stripped back, abstract soundscapes to percussive, rolling grooves. 

As well as playing alongside Goosebumps owner A-Bril under their newly forged alias, A-Brelia in recent times, Elia heads over to Fold to support Pedro on the 12th at the third edition of Goosebumps 4th anniversary.

To open the dance is "Aguamenti" by microhouse specialist Herck, starts with his typical rumbling modular madness; enveloping the listener is a swathe of an unusual sensual vocal and ever-switched slaps of melodic noise work from the off. Some delicate cowbells join the scene, and the hypnotic dimension increases, arousing our curiosity.

Up next is Costin Rp, who immediately sets an housier tone with his "If You Can". A relatively soft and bouncy low-end area stages for a playful sequence of sci-fi sounds, catchy female vocals, spacey pads, and a minimal groove that blinks a bit to the m-nus days.

On the flip, Midas Touch's boss Macarie "Atmosferiqua" gets a bit moody, offering a bubbling bassline - sometimes coming with some acid splashes in the background - and tight noisy drums. Suddenly, a long break lays itself like a spell over the fairytale landscape until the beat kicks in again.

Closing duties are entrusted to Teluric and the harsh "Composite". A sharp blockhead sub-bassline moves along with a muffled and punchy kick, letting an ever-changing synth take the scene alongside over-processed granular sounds for a deep dubby tool.
