Jesse Jaze aka Jaze is a northern Minnesota hip hop pioneer and DJ, emerging in the scene in 2002 with his group Kritical Kontact. Since 2010, Jaze has been building his solo catalog—performing, booking shows, and DJing across the region. In recent years, he’s expanded into EDM, with a focus on bass-heavy sets and house music. Jaze is also the official DJ for the Duluth Harbor Monsters arena football team, bringing energy to both the field and the dancefloor.
