DEEP GARNET RECORDS is the new quality V.I.M.RECORDS sub-label specialized on Deep-Breaks sound. Highly influenced by the deeper end of Breaks the label will be focused on deep n’ darkish Tech and Acid breaks, by some of the most promising international producers, for radio airplay, home listening and early hours dj sets.

The woods were artificial. Some kind of park. But the park was wild and overgrown. A dense jungle of twisted plants. Everything growing in confusion. The park was empty. No one was there. By the position of the sun he could tell it was either early morning or late afternoon. The smell of the flowers and grass, the dampness of the leaves, indicated morning. It had been late afternoon when the tornado had picked him up. And the sky had been overcast and cloudy. Cole considered. Clearly, he had been carried a long way. The hospital, the men with white faces, the odd lighting, the accented words he had caught—everything indicated he was no longer in Nebraska—maybe not even in the United States.
Some of his tools had fallen out and gotten lost along the way. Cole collected everything that remained, sorting them, running his fingers over each tool with affection. Some of the little chisels and wood gouges were gone. The bit box had opened, and most of the smaller bits had been lost. He gathered up those that remained and replaced them tenderly in the box. He took a key-hole saw down, and with an oil rag wiped it carefully and replaced it.

Science of Rhymes is a track that Line of Sight let ripen in his cellar for quite some time. That was to allow its tones to get just the right density and intensity. When he opened the cellar and let the track out in the studio, it almost crushed him. But the Prague-based MC C.Monts bravely faced the beast, taming it with his uncompromising phrasing. And it finally turned out to be a cheery tune for the first anniversary of Kiosek Records. Mastered by Gargle&Expel.

Nick Berta aka CAFEMAN is a quality Tech-Funk producer from Budapest. Hungary and one of the “new blood”
artists of V.I.M.BREAKS. His first single for our label (V.I.M.BREAKS255 “REVENGE”) released late
November 2014 and caused a lot of buzz in the scene, followed by another dope single (CCLONE008 “TILL
DAWN”) and his “Da Beat” track on “WELCOME DARKNESS: TECH-FUNK GROOVES” compilation at the
beginning of 2015. This is another dope driven quality Tech-Funk roller with dope atmos n' pieces by this fast
rising producer! Backed with rather excellent remixes by USA producer/dj PRATO who's got some dope releases

Estonian breakster Sunsha returns to iBreaks with a massive double A-side for our 75th release.

Heading straight for the party vibe, “I Want Your Love” doesn’t mess around, bringing the piano lead over swung, punchy beats.  A buzzing synth chord line drives the track over deep subby bass, still leaving space for a bubbling acidic synth overhead.  Early Prodigy-esque rave stabs and sirens lift the track even further, adding to the peak time feel.  A must have tune for party-starting!

Sunsha does like his swung beats, and that is evident on “Manavgat”, which takes us down a more electro avenue.  This ones channels the spirit of Lawgiverz whilst remaining firmly in the dancefloor zone, with plenty of sweeping, throbbing synth work in the bottom end and mid range.  A huge lift in the breakdown gives you a sense of Sunsha’s love for all things progressive, before dropping back into the dirt!

Hello! This is Dj F – twice! 
I want to share the work that was planned in the late summer of 2016. 
The idea came up after another event, where was played very fast and monotonous music, and the dancers danced almost the same. My whole inner world is desired to display what is happening inside me when I want to Express something in dance. 
For me personally, dance, break dancing in particular is a special kind of trance or meditation. Hence the name of the mix “B-boy Meditation“ 
The compilation consists of 11 tracks, which were written by me and my friends specially for this work. Also in the mix includes 4 tracks that were purchased on I-Tunes and Bandcamp. The nature of these 4 tracks are perfect for idea of mix.
This mix for training. For deep immersion in the creative process by using their body and music. The goal is to reveal a new, unexplored horizons.

I dedicate this work to the festival "Battle of Styles" This festival attracts more than 1000 participants here for many years and I hope that the younger generation will seek to acquire the right taste in music and more Mature b-boys will be inspired.
