The first mix in this series is filmed and recorded on location at the beautiful Ram Fortress situated along the Danube river in Serbia. Built in the 12th century and used throughout history up until even WW1 this structure has seen its fair share. 
The set is recorded near sunset and we see the change in landscape as the light fades outside and the interior is illuminated. 
The music presents a slower more full and collected sound to represent this almost 1000 year old place. As a project to help escape the chaos of the covid pandemic in 2020 this first mix is a reflection of finally getting time to slow down and see the slower beauty of the world.. A sunset along the river of a ancient fortress in an even older land.

The second mix in this series is filmed and recorded on location at Kalemegdan Fortress in central Belgrade. Overlooking the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers this Fortress. Sitting in what is now downtown Belgrade, this is one of the most visited and central parks in the whole city. Part of what makes this Sunrise set so special is the complete lack of people throughout what is normally a bustling communal area. 
In the beginning of the set it is dark and cold, we see the skyline dotted with lights from the various monuments and skyscrapers. The music reflects a sleepy dark vibe, a bit nonsensical to reflect the time when you are waking up. slower groggy, as the sun rises we see the landscape change as the city wakes up lights turn off, the colors of sunrise start to appear, the music picks up its pace a bit and becomes more "awake". 
 
Centered in background we see "The Victor" a monument to the freedom of the Serbian people after the Balkan wars of the 1900s. Just behind we see the Museum of contemporary art that adds a nice dichotomy of new and old. Behind that Usce mall towers which was the main target of the 1999 NATO bombing campaign. Off into the left hand we see the shining Ada Bridge. All these features combine to make a beautiful setting for a wondrous mix that is sure to bring out many emotions 
First works at this site were established as early as 279 BCE. Through the centuries this fortress has changed hands many times from Byzantine, to Bulgarian, Turkish, and Austro- Hungarian rule to finally only in the last 200 years being under the control of the Serbian Government.
