Boom!

At the age of 6 Josh Eritas started his formal music education on a trumpet just to continue on the piano the following years. He kept investing more and more time and passion in music and was so able to gain a wide range of experience. From solo concerts and performances in small jazz clubs up to music contests he took up every opportunity resulting in his first prize at the music competition ""Jugend Musiziert"". When he took his first steps into the world of Psytrance, he was immediately captured by the broad variety in the music and the underlying scene and began producing. Within a few months, he immersed himself completely into sound design and working with synthesizers. Together with his roommate formed ""Root Sector Records"", a small Psytrance Label in Germany and released his first EP at Purple Hexagon Records and the second as Lakitu (in collaboration with Act One) on Sangoma.

This Being the first release of Samaa Records, hence, it is named 'Earthstrong' which is a term closely tied to Rasta culture and a term for a birthday. 'Earthstrong' pronounced 'urt-strang' focuses on the principles of empowerment through words and sounds. While the word 'birthday' is literal, referring to the day of your birth, 'Earthstrong' alludes to the concept of cultivating a stronger connection with the earth each passing year, where earth means the international community.

Born in 1993. Not wise he was locked in a barn as a punishment. Forgotten for 20 years he survived by feeding with a straw. Freed by Fernandel, raised by Jean Carmet & Depardieu he is since installed in the south of France where he cooks a psytrance served in full service with Aïoli and Pastis, sometimes Polpo.
Also sound engineer and sound designer his sound signature is groovy, funky and very recognizable made from heavy leads and tight bassline.
Each track will bring you in a different mood from smile to fear.
