Remember the 28th of May? The first -but already!- legendary edition of PUNT.?

PUNT was founded by Randy Knobs & Break Rules Enjoy for the love of music. How cool would it be to have an international DJ in the intimacy of a small venue? So, we bit the bullet and did it. Edition number 1 with Fabio Florido as the main attraction was an instant hit. Randy & Break had the warm up duty that day, and since it's warm outside already, why not make it a little hotter? The recording of our side-by-side gig.

EPM Podcast 138 comes from producer and DJ Jon Hester. Growing up in the US Mid West but now Berlin based, Hester has come up over years of clubbing, DJing, record shop work, event hosting and various residencies that have all informed and developed his sound. As the second part of his ‘Converge’ album drops on Rekids we find him building a DJ set built on physical rhythms and adventurous programming which he showcases here for the EPM Podcast. Featuring such techno icons as Robert Hood, Richie Hawtin, Dave Angel, Mark Williams, Ben Sims, Radio Slave and more this is sweat-soaked story-telling at its best.

Break Rules Enjoy, music mixologist. Multi disciplinary skilled (vinyl, CD, all digital), but being a creative nerd nowadays all digital is my preference. Playing all digitally opens up new possibilities to bring music in my own specific way…

It all started with playing on a radioshow somewhere back in the eighities, and like many others, from there it was a small step to school parties, the community center disco and later on becoming the resident DJ at the leading discotheque in my hometown.

Nowadays Break Rules – Enjoy (BRE for intimi) is a well established and very well-respected DJ and Producer on the Festival & Club Scene. With decades of experience, he brings his own special take on the techno music genre that he loves and adores since he was a young kid. So if he's around in your town, make sure to get that date locked ‘n’ loaded into your calendar!
