This will be a series of playlists only consisting of my utmost favourite tunes from every year since I created this account, dating back to 26 May, 2011.

The song I that encouraged me to first create an account is no longer on active on SoundCloud, but it was called "Half Way" by Breeze Block (originally, I had found it on Liquiform's YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hWIvm01Yak). 

I've decided to use this series as the official way to organise my favourites, or "likes", on SoundCloud without them becoming too cluttered by the scrolling feature.

Note: The list will go from oldest to newest, top-to-bottom.

As for anyone else who discovers this series, and revels in enjoyment, make sure you check out the producer's other tunes! :)

What So Not - Touched (Original)

When I discovered there wasn't a D&amp;B remix of this tune I was astounded! Such a good tune, with great potential for sampling!!
It did take a while though, much longer than normal, as there wasn't a constant tempo...

Hailing from Stourbridge, near Birmingham, Tim Smith and Ashley Lamb are starting to have quite an impact in the world of drum and bass. Relatively unknown to many so far, Raw Theory will undoubtably become a name recognised by Drum and Bass followers in the very near future.

The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”
 
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013. To put it plainly, it’s going to be MAMMOTH!
