In the '90s Melbourne, Australia was the epicentre of the progressive breaks phenomenon, with producers like Luke Chable, NuBreed and the late great Phil K all making their name globally, with a sound that even earned its own genre "the Melbourne Sound".
I was one of the few DJs in Sydney embracing this sound in the mid nineties, a sound so unique and still like nothing else around today.
This is 3rd instalment as an ode to the era, that genre & those DJs who championed it.
