Known for his deep, moody style, Section taps into the roots of Drum & Bass here, using rich samples and a raw, organic feel that still hits hard on today’s systems.

From start to finish, 'Shadow Sound' rolls through dark, cinematic vibes, tight breaks and proper bassweight. It’s clearly inspired by the golden era, but nothing feels stuck in the past. This is built for now, with plenty of space and atmosphere to get lost in.

A real highlight comes with 'The Time Is Right', where Section links up with Sweetpea. The two bring their styles together effortlessly, layering tension, depth and drive into a tune that’s both heady and heavy.
