Timmus aka Micro Jaxon presents this sound journey into the 30's 40's 50's & 60's.
I have always been very connected to these times in music & have felt deeply throughout my life I may have also lived a life as a 1930's ragtime entertainer.
Here is a brief one hour selection of some of my favorites from this era including jazz, primitive pop, ragtime & more. I have used a classic collaging mixing style with modern effects to enhance the dream state.

Mix recorded from Nasimi beaches 2nd Anniversary Full Moon Party in April 2011. Warming up for the 5000 capacity crowd on the sands of Atlantis Hotel, Palm Jumierah, Dubai. "A rare pre-planned set, keeping things 100% summer vibes with a mix of classic house from producers like Ruffneck, Star Dust, Daft Punk, Ten City & Mojo. Plus recent tracks from artists like The Gathering, BlackLodge and Frank Spangler. There's also a nod to disco and funk with a TouchSoul edit of 'Baby lets get back together' and a little Jamiroquai thrown in to keep the party moving. Planet D is an imaginary place, a dimension suspended between the real and the surreal, where electronic pulses intertwine with dreamlike atmospheres. It was a self-invitation to explore new sonic worlds, letting myself be carried away without a precise destination.

In my mind, a story began to take shape: a journey to a planet different from the one I am used to. The choice of artwork by Pianeti Sintetici perfectly captures where I found myself wandering.

I felt the need to distance myself from the sounds that have defined my path in recent years, opening the doors to a more instinctive process. No sonic planning, just a natural flow: immersing myself in the studio, letting inspiration guide me, and losing myself in the timeless dimension of creation.

Each track is a sonic universe that took shape as I explored it.

𝗕𝗜𝗢
Goa-based Breger is not one to sit still. As the owner of @Kafka-Tempo and co-founder of @Copycow and @Beatplantation Festival in Germany, he has spent 20 years supporting underground culture. His music has appeared on labels like Zenon and Soupherb, with standout releases including Hippies in Danger. With three LPs and hundreds of tracks, he moves between minimal and raw techno, always carrying a dark and groovy edge. His love for psychedelic elements is evident in his productions and continues to inspire.

In his sets, Breger keeps things unpredictable, blending improvised sounds and samples to break away from repetition. He shifts freely between live and DJ sets, flowing with the moment. With a busy summer of gigs ahead, his winter months will be spent in residency with the beach collective @VortexGoa.
