His boundary bursting, accolade filled career reached a dynamic peak in 2017-18 as a member of FLOW, a dynamic ensemble (featuring genre greats Fiona Joy, Lawrence Blatt and legendary Windham Hill founder and guitarist Will Ackerman) whose self-titled collection hit the Top 5 on the Billboard New Age Albums chart and won Album of the Year at the ZMR Awards and Best New Age album at the Independent Music Awards. The current lineup of the musical group, fronted by GRAMMY® Award nominated Artist, Producer and Songwriter ARUN SHENOY also includes acclaimed producer MATTHEW SHELL, pianist LONNIE PARK, saxophonist MARCUS MITCHELL and 4 other instrumentalists.
Working on a concept album about man’s fascination with flight, the inspiration for the debut single, “Pilot” (07/31) came from the popular quote by author and speaker Michael Althusser: “The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the Pilot.” Following suit, the inspiration for this single came from the quote by Leonardo da Vinci

With the launch of a new single every month culminating in a full length album in the summer of 2020, producers Matthew Shell & Arun Shenoy, have chosen to take a production direction leaning more towards the Smooth Jazz style, with each member of the group bringing a unique perspective to the music to craft a sound that is fresh and groovy, with a healthy dose of sunshine.
The single will be released on 08/30 in digital format with the distribution handled by DashGo. Radio promotion is being handled by Neal Sapper at New World N Jazz Marketing and Publicity and Marketing by Beth Hilton at The B Company.

Brendan is an accomplished Canadian bassist, composer and producer. With extensive global radio airplay and multi-million streams across the primary digital platforms, his music and brand captivates his growing audience. The trigger and driving force for his decision to play the bass was the 1986 album from Miles Davis,“Tutu”, featuring the great Marcus Miller. The art of business and leadership drives all of Brendan’s projects, and he firmly believes in applying a business mindset to the industry of music.

With the increasing prominence of his brand and signature sound, Brendan has been invited to record on original tracks with well-known artists from the contemporary jazz world. These include New York guitarist Reza Khan, Miami saxophonist Wayne Gutshall, and Miami artist and Grammy-nominated vocalist Sylvia Bennett.

Brendan uses his 3rd album “DESTINY” (Independent, 2022) as a platform to expand his signature sound. The album’s 12 diverse tracks feature increased use of electric and acoustic piano, the instrument that began Brendan’s life-long dedication to music.
