Tokyo's Tominori Hosoya (@tomi_chair) is an artist we hugely admire at LV online both for his own productions and his meticulously curated TH Pressing Label. The labels latest release is the 3rd in the series of Wishes & Memories a series of compilations "based on the concept of releasing special music made for precious people from memories by each artist."

Edition 3 features the UK's @markhand, US producer Trinidadian Deep, Swiss producer Shaka and Tominori. The city was tired – it had been standing for too long. It was only a matter of time before the wheels came off and the industry which once was here retreated into the nothingness of empty warehouses and abandoned complexes. This was not how it had been supposed to end…

As the clouds passed over the sprawling metropolis, it were as if they too were leaving this place one by one. They came and went, much in the same way as the investment had done. All that was left here now were good people, kind spirits and the remainder of a once great empire which had stood tall and proud, built upon its machines.

Mark Hand & Neil Iceton channel influences from Detroit on this brilliant new EP for Innate. These tracks could have been recorded in the Motor City way back for all we know. Beautiful, wild, sprawling melodies are paired with fast paced drums and percussion which is built for dancing. This one comes highly recommended with a gold seal of approval.

Studio recording of my set at Freerotation 2022. In eternal memory of my Dad who sadly passed away this year, who was a key figure in the formation of the Freerotation family.

All my own productions, mostly unreleased, including some unreleased SoulStateJazz tracks; feat Mark Hand (Keys), Michiel Renger (Sax), Vicky Flint (Trumpet & Flute) & Dave Ellson (Perc & FX).

The inspiration to my song is my old man, who is loved more than he will ever truly know. I hope I make you proud pops, I’m forever proud of you as my Dad, sometimes life can throw hardship, but you are always a light in my life no matter what the circumstances. Happy Father’s Day.
