DJing has been a part of his make up since a young age.. first decks on his 15th birthday with a selection of drum & bass records.. he was hooked! Transcending many genres.. Drum & Bass, Garage, Hip Hop, Electro, Funk, Breakbeat, Deep, Tech, Melodic, Bass, House and Disco. 

His hustle has seen him frequent main stage headline slots, hidden tents, art cars, pubs, clubs, street parties, breweries, high end wineries and weddings. This demands an artist be dynamic. Expect Private Pickle to read the rich tapestry of human connection and lead a crowd to a higher frenzy of boogie.   

Today you’ll catch Private Pickle back stage managing festivals alongside Royal Jelly Productions or other West Australian collectives, championing his infectious Pickle’s Pampering festival service, running his own events brand Shaka Events or performing as either Private Pickle or as part of his 3 piece Bunnyjuice bringing together Dj + Percussion + Sax/Harmonica. 

A humbled student of the craft, Private Pickle doesn’t pursue the glitz of starden but shines his own brightness with honouring the sharmanship of bringing a crowd together behind one rhythm that infuses the essence of dance music. 

Competition is fierce so how do you compete? In his view don't focus to compete, look to be true to yourself, true to the sound that soothes your soul and true to the ingrained nature of rhythm and dance! Express yourself how you would wish others to express!!
