In this teaching you see the classic mechanism of the Yishuv Hadaas set-up which leads into Deveikus. This is then focused “downwards” to do middos work, through a mantra/“derech chazara” process. This teaching is one of the clearest examples of mindfulness in Torah sources. It includes some of the most frequently referenced ideas taught by mindfulness, hypnosis and the Law of Attraction experts.
