I gO mY OwN Way

The Quiet Manifesto began on July 2nd, with an ache I couldn’t name and the whisper: “write a song about it.”
Eighteen days later, on July 20th, 2025, silence returned, the pain in my body lifted, and I felt as if I was born again.

I first wrote these words as a silent manifesto about truth, vulnerability, and connection. I shared them with Marol, who gave them music and space to breathe. His composition and production shaped a place where word and sound could meet.

This song carries a vow: to stay true, to remain whole, to let art witness healing. It is deeply personal — yet maybe it belongs to anyone who has ever missed themselves, and then found the courage to return.

A flame of endurance and quiet strength, rooted in the UK’s soulful tradition.

This track is part of my Virtues Series – inspired by Giuseppe Galli’s thoughts on social virtues.
Each piece is created together with a different artist, giving voice and sound to a human quality that connects us.

Devotion is not sacrifice — it is presence.
To hear when someone speaks,
to see when someone is here,
to breathe with the moment.

I am deeply grateful to share this virtue with @peter-black-8 — whose sound, skill and generosity shaped this piece.
His production has given the words a body of fire and quiet grace.

A Sunday Just for Me (Part of Play Life) - The Quiet in Between

Two kinds of presence.
One that opens. One that consumes.

This piece explores the tension between light and its absence —
between awareness that connects,
and awareness without heart.

The foundation was my own spoken-word recording — the human side,
recorded in one take and used as the seed for this experiment.
Suno then generated the opposing presence:
a cold, detached voice emerging as a kind of mirror.

Maybe that’s how truth sounds when silence answers.
