Founded in late 2010 and hailing from Nuremberg/Bavaria, Structures of Mayhem will bring the REAL METAL all over the world. In their longhaired mission to show that the music made of steel is not only not dead yet but has evolved in a lot of ways they rob virgins, demolish motelrooms and of course try to turn the German Metalscene upside down by becoming the Newcomer #1. But what's the matter with all that "METAL"stuff? In one of their sober moments they realized that there's a division in the metal-community. Now SoM is on a rampage to unite really ALL the metalheads by creating a crusade through everything that's worth calling
metal.
The result is in fact stunning. Listeners of the band report strange things, such as an unnatural craving of flipping their arms and legs around, move their head in a steady circling way or strange spasms in their hands resulting in a gesture -google says- called "Devil Horns".
To make these experiences accessible to the whole world Structures of Mayhem decided to record a 5-song EP in March 2011 @ Ghostcity Recordings, known as the "Forge of Thor".
