Fatalismus Spunk are Jeschka Oszilat and Power. They are currently working on their project “CutUp Loops”, where they layer cut-up loops, change them in speed and rearrange them. Torn out of their context and processed beyond recognition, they give themselves, over and over again, a different whole that follows its own story. Power has been busy in the Viennese underground scene two decades. She was a member of the live improvisations project Bird People, the techno live improvisations duo S.E.P., part of the underground experimental punk band Ausländer, has worked as a music journalist for many years and co-worked on the publication round the viennese underground-scene "AUZine". Brii Power is founding member of the artist and DJ collectives Love Is Strange, Arsyugoslaviae, Pussy Trio or Fatalismus Spunk. 
In 2021 Power founded together with the remarkable avantgarde guitarist Sean Derrick Cooper Marquardt (Berlin, Chicago) AfghanistanMonAmour, an avant-garde experimental music duo of visionary magnitude. They collaborated with Käthe Kruse (Die Tödliche Doris/ Berlin) and Black Saturn or Godzilla (bothNew York). AfghanistanMonAmour has been performing live and publishing their recordings on podcasts and musiclabels all over the world since almost two years now.
Power moves between timeless, danceable genre intersections and experimental improvised live sounds. For some time she has been working on a CutUp Loops series. Brion Gysin discovered the cutting technique by chance in 1959 and pointed it out to William S. Burroughs, who was to become the most important exponent of CutUp. Power transfers the system from the word to the sound. For this purpose, loops are changed in speed, layered according to the CutUp technique and rearranged. Torn out of their context and edited beyond recognition, they yield themselves again and overhaul to a different whole that follows its own story. Power uses CutUps, fieldrecordings, voice and vocoder, manipuated odds and ends and creates spherical tones on her self-made theremin.
Her track 'noisy tiny cutuploop-mix-track for the winding milky ways in our brains' was published on The Church Of Noisy Goat label in 2022.
