I hold the door, I force the smile,
A gentleman for such a while.
But my patience is gone, away,
It's now my turn to make you pay!

No texture left, no colored paint,
Just hollow eyes, no self-restraint.
I see the greed, the pure despite.
They don't just hide it, they fucking bite. 
It isn’t flaw, it’s how they’re built:
They thrive on chaos, feed on guilt.

For forty years I watched this trash,
Spit on workers, count their cash.

Every stolen parking space,
Every arrogant, smirking face,
Every shoulder-check in the hall 
Another brick to build the wall.

Another pound of TNT 
Light the fuse and set me free!

I swallowed bile for all these years,
Drowned my honor in their smug-ass jeers!
AND I’M WAITING!

I am waiting for the spark to fly!
For some asshole just to cross the line!
But the fuse just sputters, damp and grey!
It never catches, anyway!
And the disappointment is a second blow,
I'm begging for the world to let me GO!
But the bomb just waits... and grows.

So now I’m searching, I'm looking for the trigger.
Provoking the complacent, the belligerent figure. 

"What did you say?" 

I ask, with honey in my voice. 
"Please, complete your awful choice." 

I want the confrontation, I need the release! 
I’m praying for the end of this fucking peace! 
I step into their path, I stare them in the eye!

GIVE ME A REASON TO LET THIS DIE!

…they say sorry, then walk on by.
…they apologize, then pass me by.
And just like that my rage subsides...


I am waiting for the spark to fly!

Pressure builds ,  the casing strains,
Poison pulses through my veins.
I’m carrying a kiloton of rage,
Not a bomb, but a cracking cage.
A living, breathing, private hell,
Forty years and I’ve held it well.
No turning back, no more excuse!

LIGHT THE FUSE!

And…nothing. Air so still. The weight settles.
It's building up, and that's so rough, but
This bomb will never go off.
