I began playing guitar at the age of 18 and had a sucession of bands playing live up until I was 25 when I accidentaly took a eight year break from being a musician. Returned in 2003 and have been a member of Spillage (2004-2008), Fair Faith (2008 - 2009) and Mega-Rush (2010 - Current) along with various side projects and other projects as a 'Gun for Hire'. 

Have had a massive interest in songwriting, recording an music production since I was 20 and these days spend more time making music on a laptop (under the handle Dead Ernest) than with a guitar, despite being a terminal guitar collector. 

I'm always interested in collaborations of any kind.

The tracks posted here represent not only my current work but also a retrospective of some of the projects I have been in since 2004. All were recorded and produced by myself at my home.

I've been fairly quiet on the recording front for a few years and live performances have been scarce as other projects took up my time but looking forward to making more new music in 2019.
