Taken from the tracklist of his latest album, Italy’s foremost trance-master prepares to direct another single mission straight to the heart of the dancefloor. This time ‘Magenta’ man Giuseppe Ottaviani has teamed up with Egypt’s finest Aly & Fila and the product of their combined studio union is is every bit as tempestuous and club combusting as you’d imagine! With ‘Waterpark’, ‘Cold Flame’, ‘Feel The Music’ and title track (and Ferry Corsten co-produced) ‘Magenta’, Giuseppe’s second artist album has delivered more than its fair share of up rocking instrumental trance. There’s always room for one more though, and here it comes in the form of ‘Brilliant People’!

Sneijder rework of ‘Brilliant People’ does nothing to dent the track’s velocity – anything but! Echoing, panning and gating the vocal, the rising Irish star builds his mix from the ground up with speaker-roasting kick-drum, gravity challenging synths and the full range of its transcendental vocal to produce one mighty floor-effect.

Twin Scream consists of twin brother Ilya and Nikita, two successful DJ’s and producers, both graduated from a school of electronic music. Their first release received support from Axwell, Thomas Penton, Rezone, David Vendetta, Kid Massive and more.

Agnelli & Nelson have taken on the remixing of Andain’s worldwide popular track ‘You Once Told Me’ released on Black Hole Recordings. They took this electronic track and turned it into a firm trancer.
 
Despite the modest size of their discography, the history of one of EDM’s greatest cult duos has created quite a few ripples in the industry. "Summer Calling". "Beautiful Things". Just the titles of two tracks, two successive years, two conclusive anthems and ones that masterminded the rocking of countless club floors. That was followed by a recorded-but-never-released long-player, band hiatus, a parting of ways and finally, in 2011, the reunion. All of which has led to the release of their album ‘You Once Told Me’ in 2012.

Red Robin has found his way into electronic music about 10 years ago. A long journey through various types of music, including 15 years of classical piano, 14 years of drums and African and Brazilian percussion prepared him for a fast integration into the electronic music scene of Berlin. Since 2005 Red Robin has been the resident DJ at Berlin's number one afterhour location, the Bar 25. He then released his first record on the Cologne based label Platzhirsch Schallplatten together with his buddy Philipp Groth under the name Pachulke & Sohn. After this release the word spread quickly about his demanding DJ-sets in which he combines his very own style of swing with dark and deep sounds.

Defining his style, mostly through his unique mixing technique, has allowed various types of electronic dance music find its way into Red Robin's DJ-bag including minimal, straight techno, breaks and tomorrows sound today. After he did a remix with Aaron Hedges on D.O.C. 12, he got signed on Trapez together with his buddy Jakob Hilden. Their ‘Metro Gold EP’ was released in July 2007 and ‘Snapdragon’ was played everywhere by everyone. Ellen Allien even listed it number one on her all year charts of 2007. The ‘Tales EP’ hit stores end of November and the next release that came out was a remix Red Robin & Jakob Hilden did for Lucio Aquilina. With the Bar 25 sadly coming to an end in the summer of 2010 but already with other residencies behind his name (Arena club and Watergate), Red Robin has definitely built a solid ground for more successfull years to come.

After his stunning collaboration with Lowland, Glowing Skies, Finnish trance wonder Orkidea treats us to 3 Extended Mixes of the critically acclaimed Harmonia album. On first track Neo Romance, the Heaven Scent trace of melodic uplift kinetically meets Ben Lord’s tones and Future Sound Of London-styled FX. Then with p:Machinery, Orkidea realigns avant-garde group Propaganda’s mid-80s synth-pop classic with modern day floors. Building it up and out with the driving, tech style of Pryda and the peak time prog hooky-ness of Anjunadeep, he gives it a radically inventive update. The EP ends with My Sunset, Orkidea’s cover of Chris Coco’s indolent chillout classic. Introducing notes and elements from Berlin’s neo trance sound, it transforms its ambience into a deeply galactic, prog-oriented number.
