With Sarah’s beautiful voice and poignant lyrics, as well as Alba’s incredible guitar, this has been a very special track to put together. I haven’t released anything in almost ten months…and it feels wonderful to be back.

Followed by his equally loved and successful track "Halcyon" which found its place on the label shortly after. His sound is unmistakable and is able to open up new spheres within the versatile downtempo genre. Sydkas productions are to the point, crisp and with a deep groove. The Mysterious Decibel X Mahan Mahan - A Septic Journey (FREE DOWNLOAD)

This song started as an idea David and I came up with to do an afrobeat song together.  So David came up with this banger of a bass line and drums track and sent it to me. I added some guitars, electric piano, and organ. I then excitedly sent it to Mikey to add the sax, which I consider to be a key element of afrobeat music, and which he always does so well. David's version is much more drum and bass heavy. Please have a listen to both so you can hear how they both sound. I really had a good time making this song. David produced and mixed both versions, and what a fun thing it is to hear my instruments integrated into an elrctronica song by such able hands.

The Smoking Trout collaborative is back with another installment in the story of the Quest for the Holy Dumpling! On this one, me, Jeff, Uziel, and Stephen are joined by Tot for the first time. He sent us an awesome beat to serve as the rhythmic backbone to this new song. Then Stephen totally funkified it with guitar, Uziel gave a stellar performance on vocals with some original lyrics, and Jeff and I contributed just the right amount of weirdness.
