Inferno

6 a.m. on a March day, when the air is "freezin' cold" and a "new season's begun" - these lines capture that brief moment of change. Words like "winter" and "spring," paired with the echoing refrain "But where is my sun?" hint at both a promise of warmth and an elusive light that remains just out of reach.

The lines leave a gentle mystery—a pause that invites reflection. The repeated question softly lingers, suggesting both anticipation and a search for a light that may yet be undefined, without spelling out exactly what that light should be.

Musically, the song is carried by a warm piano and a deep, dark male voice. It unfolds slowly while maintaining a memorable, steady rhythm. The melody and the iconic refrain work together as an understated challenge—a quiet invitation to explore the balance between the expected and the unknown.

Where is my Sun?

Well, this is a third creative round using that chord progression from SWC091 (see https://soundcloud.com/api_zz/sixteen). This time I take more liberties in composing and arranging than the original 'rules' demanded. The whole progression is transposed to A# to fit the vocals. These are created by asking Udio to do a performance of the poem "Rumors from an Aeolian Harp" by Henry D. Thoreau. This performance's vocals get separated from their instrumental parts, time-synced and mixed with the progression. Additionally there are drums, a intro pad and a middle sequence based on the instrumental part of the Udio delivery. Voila!
