This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-e, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

Helping me Draw the Line this week with her guest mix in the second hour it's  Line Engstrøm who’s from Norway. She’s one of the country’s leading female DJs and she started playing at small university events in 2008. She quickly found her passion in trance music and started the Trancefied radio show. broadcasting on Norwegian online Radio 3 and in Bulgaria, England and the Netherlands. She has also played techno events with Oslo's best know female DJ collective Femme Fatales, Faia, Tina V and Mørk (all of whom have done guest mixes for Draw The Line).

The guest mix in the second hour is by Luis Miranda who’s from Madrid but is now based in Los Angeles. He’s a rising name in the techno scene as a DJ & producer reaching his first No.1 on Beatport for his EP “Sensation” [KD Raw] in Feb 2021. His productions have been released by some of the best-known techno labels & they’ve been supported by names like Sam Paganini, Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens & Jay Lumen. He’s performed all over California where he also promotes his own Techlepatic events, and in some of the best clubs worldwide. Luis’ sets are packed with driving beats & melodies, powerful basslines, & intensive drops through a combination of raw melodic house, techno, & deep sounds.

Brian Vee is a music producer and DJ based in Bristol, UK.
Brian Vee’s background is in producing techno and DJ’ing Techno, House and Trance.

As a DJ Brian Vee has played at Ministry of Sound, London; Slinky & Godskitchen, Birmingham and various Bristol venues before taking a break from DJ’ing to focus on Music Production.

In 2021 Brian launched “project Brian Vee” and since then he now has 14 releases and more in the pipeline.  
Brian Vee has also started playing out again with his first appearance at Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts in 2022, opening the Gas Tower for Shangri La, then invited back to do the same returning to Glastonbury in June 2023.

From a very early age Brian was inspired by hiphop and DMC scratch scene and you will often hear this inspiration come through in his DJ sets and mixes.  Later inspired by early Perfecto, Paul Oakenfold, Cosmic Boys, Prodigy and classic 80’s acts such as Gary Newman and Frankie Goes to Hollywood; Vee has created a unique stripped down fusion of acid techno, and trance that you are sure to love, music that evokes memories of the classic age of rave whilst sounding strictly 2024.
