Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. SP words :At times the fact that DJs play other people's music tends to fade into the background somewhat. Time to pay them hommage.
In the course of more than 15 years, we have encountered a bunch of impressive artists.
It was and still is their music that has made our sets what they are. Some of them came to play at one or the other of annual GRAND SPORTFEST events.
Some musical connections have even evolved into long-standing friendships.
So the idea of kinking up with these special colleagues to create a compilation came easy and a while ago. And much later, finally here it is!
Eleven of our most cherished guest artists have contributed their own tracks to create this showcase.
We're proud and grateful to be able to present the work of our friends and colleagues in this release.

Italian duo Armonica has been a project we've discovered a long time ago, so working with the full release with guys is our pleasure and honour.
Their significant productions with Connected Frontline, Stil Vor Talent and Multinotes, as well as the recent remix, done with MoBlack for the legend of afro-beat Fela Kuti, released with Defected, have become the main reasons to love guys' sound.
The main title 'Slave' is powerful and effective banger edging between the melodic influence of laidback Indie Dance vibes and the acid sounds.
We are happy to have Dutch producer Patrice Baumel taking his hands on the remix of 'Slave': going more underground with powerful low-ends work, catchy melodies and the enveloping breakdown, Patrice's version is the undoubted proper floor-worker.
The third 'Ratio' has a profound ground: major synth spots and the melodic elements are unified into the properly performed track.
Enjoy any of the tracks from the release, either all of them; the second will make us happier.
