Ideal Audio presents the fourth and final instalment of Oliver Huntemann and Dubfire's seminal ELEMENTS series. These techno heavyweights have worked together on numerous projects over the years, but it is their Elements collaborations that have shone impressively as a complete body of work. AGUA is the final piece of the music puzzle and completes the series that first saw the light of day back in 2010 with the scorching FUEGO.

2011 brought us TERRA, firm and powerful with its devastating breakdown. 2013 saw us breathe in the mystical AIRE, harnessing the elements of the previous tracks to build a fresh and magical moment. AGUA, as its name suggests, flows effortlessly, helped in no small part by the sultry vocal of Xenia Beliayeva, but kicks in equal measure.

Signing off in such style has also lead to Ideal Audio drafting in some heavy weight talent on the remixes. Carl Craig, under his C2 moniker, dives straight in to strip the original to its core. A single drum beat, siren, clap… and then the kick. Petar Dundov twists the original’s elements into a bubbling acidic stream that washes over us. An impressive package for an impressive finale!

We’ve waited exactly one year for the return of Wigbert to the SCI+TEC fold and with 'Dancing In The Dark Room’, his latest EP for the label, our anticipation has been rewarded with, in our opinion, his finest work to date. 

Having already explored many musical paths in his career, Wigbert’s current sound is an impressive amalgamation of all that has come before, matched with a tougher, more driving dancefloor delivery. ‘Dancing In The Dark Room’ sees Wigbert roll out moody yet groovy synth work on the opening title track before shocking us with his devestating broken beats on ‘No Plan’. A track that confirms quite the opposite. 

Next up is the terrifying ‘Tinnitus’, a mind-melting mosquito of a track that is set to cause much late night mayhem. Finally, and thankfully for our eardrums, Wigbert eases us to a close with a far more soothing number in the form of the liquid delight that is Sunday Mood.

As we continue to pay homage to goddesses everywhere, we take a pit-stop in Denmark; Copenhagen to be exact. 

Nanna.B is homies with the guys from Mutual Intentions, the Oslo-based label/family who blessed us with tastefully seasoned grooves last November. And her output has also been a favoured destination for some of the BR cohort over the last couple of months; a heady collection of moonlit, experimental soul, jazz-tinged ooo-la-la's and VHS funk (via Mndsgn).

"Beaches" is the first track to emerge from her self-produced EP, LAPIS — fittingly titled as an ode to femininity. Vulnerable and beautifully stripped back, the track's skeletal instrumentation propel Nanna's vocals in to the front seat. A delicate, yet firm introduction to what's to come.

LAPIS acts as a stop-gap project as she readies her full-length album with productions by Anderson .Paak, Mndsgn, Iman Omari and Shafiq Husayn among others. Get familiar.

In a sea of thousands of dance music labels, Gottwood Festival have proven their worth with their Gottwax imprint. Their compilations EP1 and EP2 have boasted seminal summertime numbers from Ruf Dug, Cottam, Rob Amboule and more. Now, Gottwax's forthcoming EP3 consists of four new tracks cut on bright orange acetate by Ponty Mython, Krywald & Farrer and Bonar Bradberry – and a welcome return for Appleblim. Relishing in our fortune to have a first listen, it is the four-four iridescence of Appleblim's "Phosphene" that stands out most. An epic homecoming for the Bristolian producer who has otherwise kept relatively quiet as of late, setting sail suitably on the third Gottwax ship.

EP3 drops via Gottwax on 16th April.

Next up on Mile End Records is one of house music’s men of the moment in the form of Cera Alba. Following up great EPs on Viva and Moon Harbour he now comes correct with three more tracks that get remixed by Leftwing & Kody in great style. 

Cera is a UK talent who also releases on labels like Lost Records and Alive. As a DJ he is someone who made a big impact in Ibiza in 2015 and knows how to rock crowds big and small. As a producer, he makes no nonsense house beats with real meat in their bones and this new EP is no different. 

Opener Erratic Motion is an old school New York style house cut. Raw and ghetto with churning drums and a wild lead synth that tumbles down from the sky, it is one to make you sweat. Vertigo on the otherhand is a bouncy cut with big kicks filled with air, grinding bass and spooky chords that are rave ready. It’s one to send floors wild. Balaeria is another slamming and slinky house joint with crisp percussion and loopy bass sucking you right into the vocal flecked groove. 

Much loved London pair Leftwing & Kody remix this one into a more to the point and hard hitting, cut up and choppy affair that is perfectly physical for the floor.

Having been on the scene for over a decade, Wehbba has actually released a ridiculous amount of music. Labels like Tronic, 82 Recordings and Systematic have acted as a home for the artist but his forthcoming work on Padley's is some of our favourite to date.

The title track does the business but fellow Brazilian ANNA has served up the remix and it's more of the excellent same we've come to expect from the chart-topping producer. ANNA's seemingly got the golden touch and when she's not climbing the Beatport charts she's getting booked all over the world.

As La Fleur, Swedish-born-Berlin Based Sanna Engdahl has been caressing ears with her mesmerizing and subtle house since 2010. The 20th of May will see her featured on Kerri Chandler's Madhouse Ibiza compilation with the dreamy and sun splashed "Vervain", a beautiful, spaced out house track consisting of warm murky soundscapes, chuggy bass hits and chopped vocals, all in all; a delicate piece of house that witness of Engdalh's meticulous care for the suggestive.

Born in Romania and raised in Canada Simina Grigoriu was mostly into Nirvana, Hip-Hop and Jungle music in her student days. But it all changed with the first 90s rave parties in Toronto and Simina gradually turned into an all-in techno enthusiast already long before moving to Berlin in 2008.

Today her music style is techno and tech-house mostly influenced by Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Josh Wink and Juan Atkins. After releasing a few EPs on Berlin's Sonat Records, notably remixing Kleines Bubu for her husband Paul Kalkbrenner and unleashing her debut album EXIT CITY with Susumu Records Simina took a year and a half of for maternity leave. Now she is back full time in the studio and ready to take over the world.

HMWL is very proud to release the Hop Scotch, a two track EP by Simina with a deep extended remix by Drumcode’s John H & M.E.E.O.

The Last Of Us returns after a while and the massive success release from Namatjira and his Nerrina EP this time with another eardropping progressive house gem from upcoming talent Pablo Cetrini. Pablo is making a very promising entry in the scene and with releases under his belt in major labels and receiving some massive support from the masters of progressive house like Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. ??For this TLOUM release the Argentinian went all in with some massive groove and basslines hovering all over the two tracks of the “Mistery Ocean” EP.  Both Mistery Ocean and Default tracks are a perfect example of Pablo’s style and technic in sound design and the emotions he delivers with each production. Powerfull music tools for every well structured progressive house set, both tracks are oriented to deliver. Remix duties this time come from the fellow Argentinian and established artist Cristian R, already releasing in the biggest and most respected labels like Sudbeat and Renaissance among others. His take on “Default” got already some continuous support from Hernan Cattaneo over his last gigs around the globe and there is nothing to wonder why. Cristian took the track to a whole new level of awesomeness and went even more hypnotic and energetic, with a haunting break leading to the peak time drop that is sure it will work perfectly as it is shown in Hernan’s set and the reactions of the crowd are off the roof.??All tracks have been analogue mastered by dPen @ Diez Mil Mastering Studio.

Partial PR: The 45th release on microCastle welcomes Navar & Mononoid to the label for the debut of their collaborative project. Dutch artist Navar returns to the Canadian imprint following his 'Moments In Life EP' from November of 2014. As one of the underground's most creative talents Navar has shaped a sound all his own, full of soulful qualities and organic design. Appearances on Guy J's Lost & Found Records coupled with a sparse release schedule has only made the love for his sound stronger. Meanwhile Mononoid, also hailing from the Netherlands are making their much anticipated label debut. First conceptualized in  2011, Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy make up the Mononoid production duo. A string of releases on Traum got their career off to a great start and their modern take on techno has since been showcased by Einmusika, Lost & Found and Sisyphon. Much like Navar, Mononoid has been praised for their creative vision and the fusion of  these three intuitive minds was a project that had to be put into motion. Some winter months locked away in the studio has resulted in the much anticipated three track EP entitled 'Dreambox',  alongside a remix from YokoO of Musik Gewinnt Freunde and All Day I Dream.

The release concludes with the appropriately titled 'Versoene'. A piece which was born out of musical frustration but resulted in a deep and magical vibe. The first of the three completed and the beginning of a strange and wonderful friendship. In the words of Eelko, Andy and Igor "An enthralling light came upon us and we knew what to do! There are hopeful transmissions running through this one, but where are they from? Moments of brightness with 'Versoene' brought diversity in many ways, it led us to a place of harmonic embrace, a moment where time was lifted and we moved forward into the future. "
