Jamuary Challenge: Create a jam everyday during the month of January. It doesn't have to be great, amazing or even totally finished. The point is to make some music everyday. Unfortunately, I didn't get started on the challenge until the 15th of the month, but better late than never! Enjoy!

This track was built using the Cassette Tape Prophets Ableton Live Pack. Each sound was programmed on the Sequential Circuits Prophet 6, run through the Elektron Analog Heat, and recorded to cassette tape. The cassette tape samples were then brought into Ableton Live and built into a collection of Instrument Racks.

This piece was created by using Follow Actions in Ableton Live. There are four tracks of music with 4-8 clips on each track. Each clip contains a note or chord. The clips are random triggered at various intervals. There's also a drum track with 4 clips of sparse beats, triggered randomly at various intervals.

Follow Me

This track is a three person collaboration, with Mike Longo and Kevin Kapica. I played the Teenage Engineering OP-1, Kevin played his new Roland System 8, and Mike played the Drumbrute, Minilogue, and Arp Odyssey sequenced by the Keystep. This is a little snippet of what we felt sounded like an action-movie car chase.

This is a little piece I performed live using my Classical Guitar Ableton Live Pack. I multi-sampled my nylon string guitar and built Ableton Live Instruments. This piece was performed using Push 2.
