What an Oddity! (Battle 3)

been a while since i've posted something new! new Deltarune dropped so you've got me making covers for a little while. this track stuck with me, both the situation in which it plays and that it sounds almost like a mastered line-out recording of a 3rd/4th generation console... except i don't think anything from that era could replicate this. it's the same deal as with Spider Dance; Toby Fox does a really good job of making stuff with incredibly authentic-sounding chiptune elements in his music. this was mostly just an exercise to see how close i could get with what i know. the answer is "some parts you can get really close, but you're gonna need more than at least what the NES has natively to get it 100%". this is also the first thing i've posted here using Furnace instead of FamiTracker, whose sample support is so far above FamiTracker's that I'm convinced it wouldn't even sound close to this on real hardware. it also runs better and has better features and support for like, everything, so I intend to just use it instead of FamiTracker from now on.

Olliever is a maddened and desperate haze, believes Ralsei who's come back to save him.
