Saturn Ring Safari Set.

This is an outer-space journey to the rings of Saturn.

If we were to travel the 1.402.074.375 kilometers that separate Saturn from the Earth, this is the music I would listen to… If light takes approximately 1 hour and 17 minutes to travel from Saturn and arrive to us, then -in order to get there by the end of this set- we would need to travel at around half the speed of light. Clearly, a galactic soundtrack is required for this epic journey to this far away planet, with changes in the mood according to the adventures encountered along the way.

What you listen at the beginning of the set, is one of NASA´s “Saturn V” space rocket launches. It´s first flight was one 9th of November, back in 1967. An interesting year, indeed, for our race to space… A few months before, on the 16th of March, the “Echo Flight Incident” occurred. A rarely known event that makes me wonder on how interstellar travelling and helping might be.

Having said this, fasten your seatbelts, and enjoy the flight!

This is my 12th Recorded DJ Set, mixed with "Traktor DJ Pro 3" & a "Pioneer DDJ-T1" Controller, live on the 21st of June, 2023, at the pampean-grassland-fields, celebrating the winter solstice.
