Mr. WildFire - On Fire

In celebration of Women’s History Month, singer-songwriter Hillary Capps is set to release her latest single, “She,” on March 28. The track was created by an all-female team.

Produced by the acclaimed Tiger Darrow, “She” is an anthem of resilience and freedom. The alternative pop song embraces duality – balancing strength and vulnerability – while paying tribute to motherly love, sisterhood, and friendship.

Capps originally wrote “She” in 2019, following the rise of the #MeToo movement. Recently rediscovering it in her voice memos this past January, she was struck by how deeply relevant the song remains today. Inspired by the shifting political landscape and the return of the Trump administration, she felt compelled to bring the song to life.

“She” is also currently available as a live video that was submitted as part of the 2025 Tiny Desk Contest.

“Since the election and inauguration, I have felt a strong desire to surround myself with like-minded women and reconnect with my community,” says Capps. “It’s easy to feel powerless witnessing the changes initiated by this new administration, but hey, I can always make art. So that’s what we did here.”

“She” was made possible with the generous support of Capps’ Patreon community, who continue to champion her artistic journey. The single will be available on all major streaming platforms on March 28.
