This is a short story about being addicted to sleep and staying in bed long after the alarm has started sounding.

This song was where it all began for me on here. The first time I tried to write anything serious. 
It's a song about me, and a couple of old drinking friends. About youth, drinking too much, and the sheer bloody waste of it all.

Who's castles of sand crumbled right in their hands as they entered into their thirties?

To get to that place more quickly. 
Who feels sad as she looks at the ocean?
And why would that be?
Who has wasted the rest and is failing the test?
Passing out, never falling to sleep

Never stood a chance right from the start.
Cos nobody told yas.
Starting drinking at Twelve.
