‘Forget’ follows up next, with a more lowdown tone. A darker vibe brings with it a morose bassline, sorrowful layers and a melancholy melody.
The warped vocal, while harmonious, also complements the grey hues of this cut. Percussion-wise, the beats are pumping and are bound to get the dancing crew moving. The breakdown adds some brightness to this composition, before we head back into the gloomier atmospherics.

From Burning Man to Panorama Bar, Panthera Krause knows how to energise and elevate the most demanding, knowledgeable dancefloors. He is, of course, equally adept in the studio, be it as part of Marbert Rocel, who enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with the mighty Compost label; or now focusing on solo projects and his esteemed Riotvan label, all from his base in one of Germany’s most vibrant cities, Leipzig.

All of which, natch, means we are beyond delighted to have him debut on Selador. The beneficiary of Panthera’s craft is none other than our very own Steve Parry. With new tune ‘Turn Up the Juice’ already hailed as an “anthem” by Hot Since 82, the juice gets turned up a few notches more with this bodyslammer of a remix.

Our man Panthera remains true to the spirit of Steve’s original but goes darker with a late 90s / early 00s vibe with whip cracker percussion, dirty synths, and the opulent vocal hook all aiding and abetting this unabashed act of grand dancefloor larceny.

Influential producer, DJ and label owner Sasha continues to expand his prolific output with a new emotive techno single titled ‘Ripcord’, set for release via his own Last Night On Earth imprint. 

Having rinsed 'Ripcord' in various sets and LNOE podcasts this year, Sasha's new track has been in high-demand for fans eagerly awaiting it to surface. It follows his recent remix of SYML's ‘The Bird’ and the wickedly popular collaboration ‘The Lights’ with Kölsch, two cuts getting the treatment on countless dancefloors around the world. Now as Sasha's in the midst of a massive tour schedule, with solo shows as well as collab performances with John Digweed and the upcoming Last Night On Earth show at Tobacco Dock on September 21, ‘Ripcord’ sets the tone for a strong finish to a busy summer.
