BlindSquare is primarily an orientation tool. It uses Foursquare and OpenStreetMap to give you information about your environment when outdoors, or Bluetooth beacons if they have been installed to help you navigate indoors. As the primary focus is providing information about the environment, it is best paired with another GPS app such as Google or Apple Maps which can provide turn-by-turn directions that supplement the information. The app is very powerful and customizable, allowing you to choose exactly how much information you would like to receive as well as how that information is conveyed.
