What an education.  Thank you Eric for the opportunity to learn something new - audacity.  I think I learnt a little of the complexity of your work too.

I added some tabla and raised the levels on little snippets that I adore and that somehow moved me, so you could say I puncuated it with my own response to the individual tracks.  An experimental piece.  Timing is not great at the end, forgive me.

I have created an xperimental re-mix, that began from the sense of call and response of the angels(voices) that I sense when I listen to the original.

I improvised a line with the soloists that attempts to represent the voice in me that appears when I listen to the piece and added sounds from the original tracks and extras to try and create the movement I also feel.  

Jamming in the sky is what it felt like trying to get this to come together - if I had been in a room with all the instruments and voices that make up this piece, I think I might be in heaven.  Eric, you have a fantastic job, thank you for the opportunity to 'play' and create.  This is my second attempt using audacity.

This weeks 2 hour learn and record - I love this song, I felt nervous on this one, hard to keep control of the voice the more I got into the song. Some issues with recording levels too high.

This was the song I practised first for this weeks singing challenge and was finding it really hard - it's such a classic and the original is one of my favourites.  Anyhow I decided to give it another go, so this was recorded in a few takes over 20 minutes, there are many imperfections. I didn't want the effort to go to waste.

This was in response to Virtual Choir friends completing a choral performance in New York that I couldn't be there for.  This song was my way of celebrating from across the Atlantic.

Spontaneous one take recording.  Found a karaoke YouTube track, plugged the mic in and sung.

It has been a tough week, so I sang. Love this song, not really my genre. Hunter Parrish does it so well. Backing track has the wrong key change and tempo at one point! Perfectly Imperfect.
