Self-taught guitarist who bases his music in mellow tunes and ballads occupying pretty much jazz harmonies in his compositions, along with known tunes arranged in his own way.

Liam Walker grew up in a small cottage in Grisdale Forest in the Lake District, days full of walking and playing outside alongside his woodsman father, nights spent full of stories and music. Nature and music were always his to explore and his ease with both is evident in this first set of tracks.

From his mother's scrapbooks and tales of pilgrimages as a young woman in the '60s and '70s to see the music icons of her day, to listening to his father play while evoking in great detail the gigs he'd attended (right down to the smell of the cloakroom in The Cavern Club in the '60s), Walker soaked up musical history along with the sounds themselves from the earliest age.

His own playing started with a homemade kit built around a snare drum his father found in a scrapyard. Liam lovingly refurbished it, added
kit around it and taught himself to play. This was followed by the gift of a steel-strung guitar from his Aunt Madeline which was his
first step towards becoming a singer-songwriter.

Birthdays and Christmasses saw more instruments arrive and front room recitals were a regular part of growing up, leading to the family joke that Liam could 'almost get a tune out of any instrument'. While his family may not have been financially rich it was a childhood full of happiness, love and music for Walker.

He first joined bands as a drummer during his teenage school years, with the family now living in Derbyshire, where Liam still resides today. And while he continued to play guitar, write music and sing in private he was happier behind a drumkit for public performances.
He learnt more about writing and performing as recent band Sons of Eagle toured the UK and enjoyed success. After the breakup of the band Liam focused on his own songwriting: 

"My writing, singing and performing soon took over. I love open turnings and started experimenting with melodies and putting lyrics about my life to the music and to my surprise songs started to come out."

After winning Chesterfield Acoustic Idol 2014 his confidence in himself has led him to form a new band with two old friends. Liam Walker is now working on his first collection of songs, personal and emotionally resonant modern folk, performed with warmth.

Hattie Briggs is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Chichester but currently based in London. An independent artist and regular busker at Network Rail stations, she was fortunate enough to be discovered by platinum-selling singer, Alfie Boe, who was stopped in his tracks by her pure vocal while she was busking at Paddington Station in October 2018. She was personally invited by him to open all 21 shows on his recent UK tour, the finale of which was at the Royal Albert Hall on April 17th 2019, after which she and her band received a standing ovation. To top things off, Alfie welcomed Hattie back onto the stage each night during his set to perform a duet, which went down a storm with audiences.

Since making the decision to drop out of a Russian degree in her second year at Oxford University, Hattie has released several EPs, two critically acclaimed albums, played live and been interviewed on national television (BBC Breakfast), had airplay on BBC Radios 1, 2, and 6 Music, and embarked on tours around the UK, the Netherlands and the U.S.. Festival appearances include "The Great Escape" Brighton, "Secret Garden Party" and a showcase in the Club Tent at Cambridge Folk Festival. Named the first ever winner of Fender Undiscovered Artist of the Year in 2017, Hattie won the prize of supporting Lucy Rose at the prestigious O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire. Other artists that she has opened for include chart topping duo, Ward Thomas, at the O2 London’s Brooklyn Bowl, Lauren Aquilina, Stornoway, John Smith and Seth Lakeman.

Influenced by Joni Mitchell, Foy Vance, Goldfrapp and Jeff Buckley, Hattie writes and sings straight from the heart, bringing together pop, folk and electronic influences, which she delivers with honesty and intent.
