I wrote this track back in December of 2018. Was messing around on the guitar effects and this track was the result of that session. This track gives me the feeling of melancholy with a longing for something missing. The doubts and insecurities with my dreams and aspirations. Like chasing after something that’s just out of reach or wondering if I’m running to or away from what I need.

Most of my gigs are cancelled. I'm sitting at home bored as heck. Thought I'd make my hands slightly less than idle. Enjoy the tunes. Stay home. Stay safe.

Reggae music has been a part of my life since I can remember, my dad was a fan and that was passed down to my brothers. Whenever I go home to visit my family you can bet that a jam session will occur at least once while we’re all together. You can also bet that, we will play at least one Reggae song. I wanted to reimagine this track and put my singer songwriting spin on it, by changing the melody and chord progression. While I think die hard Bob Marley fans may absolutely despise this redemption of No Women No Cry, I kinda secretly really like this version. 

Due to the craziness from the Covid-19, I spent the last few days getting supplies, causing me to delay this release a few days. 

Hope everyone is staying safe, washing hands, lending a helping hand to elderly people in your community and each other.

As Bob Marley put it; “One love, one heart, let’s get together and feel all right.”
