2014 sees a massive return to arms for scene legends Total Science’s seminal Drum & Bass label C.I.A (Computer Integrated Audio)

The label is already host to a massive collection of some of the biggest releases in Drum & Bass with a back catalogue that stretches all the way back to 1996 and has featured an incredible roster of artists that reads like a who’s who of the scene.

To celebrate the great guys at C.I.A are giving away the parts to one of their most popular releases, the incredible “Walk Away” by Zero-T featuring the amazing vocal talent of Steo

As if actually getting the chance to remix the tune alone wasn’t tempting enough the guys have lined up an amazing package for the winner.

The winner will receive -
A Full release on the label alongside a remix of the tune by Total Science themselves
A personal one off 10” Dub Plate of their tune cut and mastered by Beau Thomas over at Teneightseven Mastering who over the last years has mastered 100 of classics for labels such as Ram, Shogun, Critical, Dispatch & Symmetry
A Full 12 months of digital copies of all forthcoming releases over the label one week prior to release.

META015 is  a beauty and the beast affair, fantastically executed in the great tradition of Metalheadz.
Kicking off with ‘Hungry For Atmosphere’ this stepper is a perfect set opener, heartfelt strings and keys give way to contorted mids and FXs, whilst the familiar vocal is processed into something altogether more sinister. The track clocks at just over 7 minutes and this says everything of the tracks ambitions, not pandering to anything but its own journey.
Next to step into the ring is ‘A Certain Flavour’ the opposite but yet perfectly paired track to go with the A side. Beginning with a very cinematic introduction it unravels into a growling bass led stepper with staccato drums before switching into a two-step drum work out, tailor made for dancefloors and DJs alike.

A release that we are very happy to kick 2014 off with, welcome to the new breed!
