Quite like the energy in this one though no arrangment as such. Trial and error mostly so made a quick test before recording. Sampler & vocoder included here:) Mastered 16 bit wav. There are 4 synths (one is not a synth per se) in action apart from the drum machine. Quite pleased with the sounds and mix in this one. Sampler but no vocoder this time. Only light mastering (16 bit wav). Headphones recommended.

Been a while since I made some Techno:) Just jammin’ with a few machines (small set up). BPM ca 123. Lost all sense of time while making this one so is a bit too long. Headphones recommended.

They figured it out!

A really long jam that was pre-prepared (certain aspects i.e. samples, patches, drum patterns, etc) but mostly improvised. Tempo is 134 bpm. Really getting a Moby vibe from this one (Techno days) but that was not intentional:) Only noticed this while mastering. Not too mad about the Roland D-beam synth though. 4 synths, 1 sampler, 1 drum machine.

88_ Lost Art Dance Inspirations - released on 22 September 2025

I was at the Lost Art Festival Vol. 3 in Berlin on 13 September 2025. Light and sound installations and performances were shown in a soon-to-be-abandoned industrial facility. Music acts were also there, of course.
The only dance performance I attended was at the very end of the festival and didn't really impress me at first. But that changed! #ambient #contemplative #jazz #minimal #only5elements #liverecording

Lost Art Dance Inspirations

They bend beneath the grammar of shapes,
their spines spelling out the circle’s weight,

A bit of an odd one for me and a bit experimental, but was really fun making it. Why not make a track about the European electric grid? Could it perhaps be the first ever song made about that? Needed a break from the C-tracks so jammed with my "live setup" that consists of 4 Behringer machines: 
RD-6, Syncussion, Neutron & K2 + the tiny Teenage Engineering PO 35:) 

Only used 1 send delay effect from a small mixer so absolutely a minimal set up compared to the main studio:) A keystep + a Sq1 sequencer were used to trigger the various synths. Melody was programmed;-) 134 bpm.

Another version of our Whispering Forest with joerxworx's fabulous contribution. I have been discussing soul & motown music and the records that inspired the Northern Soul movement with Morten a lot recently,  so there's a hint of that in this track.

Irish fiddle meets German violin

Brillman has been an electronic online musician during the last 20 years using many different names: Brillman, Controlfreak, freakcontrol, Red Karma, Atmosphere, Zero Loop, Pan64, Randomcontrol, geometric delay and Superfreak! Brillman mainly creates original sounds from hardware synths but also uses guitar, samplers, vocals or even poetry. He primarily utilizes a 4 to the floor approach. The aesthetics behind the music is about finding a balance between minimalism vs. depth & improvisation vs. programmed.
