Thieves in the Palace is an alternative rock project that originated from influences such as west coast bay area rock, folk, progressive rock and jazz. Duo DJ | Producer | Musician

Hey guys we just a normal guy, with a dream of becoming a successful DJ and Producer , I hope you all like our vibes.

It says 'tim and clare acoustic', but the three of us are actually called Merci Latina. 
I've been told by Ian to say I'm a  'literate singer/songwriter'! I've been writing for many years, and every summer we go into the studio and record new songs (and some tracks that you can find on 'soundcloud ian tatlock', if you like).
As for my own songs, what I'd really like would be the idea that someone was covering a song of mine and playing it live to an audience.
Clare Howell is a fine, semi-pro singer of many years' experience. I'm immensely grateful that she covers some of my songs, and I find some of her versions of them very moving. (I'm understating the case there.)
Ian Tatlock (right of picture), is the guy who plays Martin guitars, at the end of the fretboard where I don't go. When just Ian and I play, we're The Taminis, and you can find us on his soundcloud account.
