DJ 2LUV is a collaboration of djs and music lovers based in different countries. The project started by Dj 2Love in Portugal and was embraced by us in Australia. the concept is that we exchange musics and create our sets in collaboration. Each set has a different approach, a storytelling of songs regardless their age or genre. The beat unifies them all and Electronic Music is our passion. Dj 2LUV is an alter-ego that goes beyond the individual. DJ 2LUV feat PRAWNIE is one of those alter-egos and I am Bruno Gillopes and also PRAWNIE.

I starting writing poetry while I was in a suffering state. Music has always been an inspiration. I continue to utilize poetry as a tool to express my Divine nature.

[PT] M-PeX é um músico multi-instrumentista, compositor, sound-designer e produtor que tem na guitarra portuguesa o traço distintivo da sua identidade musical, posicionando-a enquanto instrumento solista em ambientes sonoros diversificados, incluindo música electrónica. As suas criações ensaiam modernizar e globalizar este instrumento tradicional da cultura portuguesa, culminando numa arrojada e inovadora confluência musical.

BIOGRAFIA

Natural de Lisboa, Marco Pinheiro Miranda cedo começa a tocar viola de acompanhamento de Fado com o seu avô Luís Pinheiro (instagram.com/p/CTfnIeOjO8j/), mestre da guitarra portuguesa, acompanhando-o em inúmeras casas de Fado e em eventos privados. Pouco mais tarde, o seu avô oferece-lhe a sua primeira guitarra portuguesa e transmite-lhe a técnica, a escola e os métodos. Entusiasta da produção de música electrónica, e recusando circunscrever a guitarra portuguesa ao universo do Fado, adopta, em 1999, o nome artístico de M-PeX, criando uma sonoridade em que combina a guitarra portuguesa com este segmento musical. Enquanto engenheiro físico, e em paralelo com a actividade artística, dedica-se à investigação científica (cienciavitae.pt/1919-8DA5-4720) do efeito da música e do som nas ondas cerebrais humanas, com áreas de interesse em computação sonora-musical, processamento de sinal, mapeamento, sonificação EEG e outros biosinais. Dedica-se igualmente à composição e produção de bandas sonoras originais (autoria e co-autoria, bit.ly/mpex-sound-pt), realizando também licenciamentos, arranjos, remisturas, sonorização, sonoplastia, sound design, edição, produção e pós-produção de áudio para cinema, televisão, teatro, web, videojogos e rádio, executando também trabalhos de gravação, mistura e masterização. Ao vivo, actua a solo, fazendo-se acompanhar da sua guitarra portuguesa, pedaleiras de efeitos e do seu computador.

[EN] M-PeX is a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, sound designer, and producer who has in the Portuguese guitar the hallmark of his musical identity, merging their sound with diverse soundscapes, including electronic music. His creations aim to modernize and globalize this traditional instrument from Portuguese culture, culminating in a bold and innovative musical confluence.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Lisbon, Marco Pinheiro Miranda soon began playing Fado accompanying guitar with his grandfather Luís Pinheiro (instagram.com/p/CTfnIeOjO8j/), a Portuguese guitar master, accompanying him in countless Fado clubs and at private events. Soon after, his grandfather gave him his first Portuguese guitar and teached his technique, school, and methods. Enthusiastic about electronic music production, and refusing to confine the Portuguese guitar to the universe of Fado, in 1999 he adopted the artistic name M-PeX, creating a sound that combines the Portuguese guitar with this musical segment. As a physics engineer, and in parallel with his artistic activity, he dedicates himself to scientific research (cienciavitae.pt/1919-8DA5-4720) into the effect of music and sound on human brainwaves, with areas of interest in sound-musical computing, signal processing, mapping, EEG and other biosignals sonification. He is also dedicated to the composition and production of original soundtracks (authorship and co-authorship, bit.ly/mpex-sound-en), also carrying out licensing, arrangements, remixes, sound design, editing, production and post -audio production for cinema, television, theater, web, video games and radio, also carrying out recording, mixing, and mastering work. Live, he performs solo accompanied by his Portuguese guitar, effects pedals, and his computer.
