I just wanted to let you know that I came across this song a few years ago and it is literally one of my favorite songs. I love it so so much. I revisit it now and then and it makes me emotional every time. Just fantastic vocals, guitar, and lyrics.

Brittany Ann Tranbaugh (pronounced TRAN-baw) is a Philadelphia-based songwriter whose queer Americana heartbreaker “Kiss You” won Song of the Year in the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Tranbaugh has been writing songs and playing shows since she was a teenager, but in February 2023, at 31 years old, she finally quit her office job to pursue a full-time career in music. On March 24th 2023, Tranbaugh released the exuberant long-distance-relationship anthem “Can’t Wait No Rush,” produced by Grammy-winner Tyler Chester. Listeners can expect three more singles this summer and a full EP in the fall.
