This is the recording from my set at Contact High's party 'Lucid Dreams' held at The Industrique. This was the opening set for the party, A 2 hour set of Psychedelic Techno. Was a really fun set to play, and a huge thanks to Dean from Contact High for the set and putting on such a awesome party. Hope you Enjoy!

In the deep psychedelic murmurs of the High Deserts you may come across a unique blend of slick, rubbery beats and ominous wild howls that creates an inviting yet sinister feel in the dust. Britton is a Southern California based DJ and producer known for his dark minimal style of techno. Inspired by socal's underground collectives and full moon gatherings, Britton has developed his own dark sound that compliments warehouse and outdoor environments alike. With releases on Desert Hearts and Minimal Sessions, Britton has been able to showcase his music in multiple cities throughout the U.S., Germany, and Netherlands. In 2021 his EP with Sammy Legs “Weak In The Knees” reached the top 10 overall in the Beatport charts and also has forthcoming releases on Sacha Robotti's label "Sloth Acid". Britton has also shared the stage with djs like John Monkman, Andreas Henneberg, Harvard Bass, Dennis Cruz, The Crystal Method, and Infected Mushroom!

A set born out of an otherworldly experience that left an permanent mark on my soul, when I found myself in a remote desert in South Africa, immersed in a culture of radical self-expression and inclusion: Afrika Burn 2023 🔥

A week of roaming the playa, a vast expanse of dust and dreams, I was entranced by the mind-blowing sets and performances that unfolded around me, without my phone or any plans. But there was only one time and place I knew I wanted to be: Opening stage Why Not on Saturday 11PM. 

Together with old friends, new connections, fellow burners, we created a moment that was pure magic to me. I hope by closing our eyes and listeing to this set, we can be transported back to that mystical desert, somewhat relive that moment. Thank you Afrika Burn 2023 💛
