After the cold winter, new wind is blowing, new flowers are starting to show their colours – it is a New Path. Washing away the long nights, a ray of sun starts to sparkle and shine over our heads and elevate our spirit. This tinkling feeling of the skin coming off, only to be covered with a new skin energized by an avalanche of colours. Yes, we are ready. 

This path was curved by SiLo, aka Karl Douglas and Humerous, aka David Miller from Cape Town, South Africa. These two joined forces in order to move to sonic bulldozers which will carve the New Path. Both Humerous and SiLo have been involved with PsyTrance for the past 10 years now, and now they are ready to dig their psychedelic highway. 

This New Path has just opened its sonic possibilities before you. You can bypass the Ward in order to achieve it but he can also give you some valuable tips of how to proceed into your final destination. This place will bring you into a Great Life, until you open that other path…

With the release of their debut „Das Monster aus dem Schrank“ (Redfield Records) at the end of 2008, WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER set the foundation for their incredible evolution! Even then the band was leading the MySpace Charts for weeks and now they have a fanbase with over 35.000 fans, predominantly from the USA. No wonder since their album was - among other sources - available at the well-known Hot Topic stores. The success led to an entry at #42 on the US-iTunes Charts (Top Releases) in the week before X-Mas 2009.

The highly anticipated second album „Der Tag an dem die Welt unterging“ was released worldwide via Redfield Recods on May 14th 2010. Which sounds like a typical flowery phrase in the music business can be documented with currently two million plays on the band’s MySpace-page. That’s how many listeners the two new album tracks had after only 48 hours! Plenty enthusiastic comments show the high expectations of the fans. 

Musically, WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER present themselves and their Deathcore more diversified than on their previous full-length. “Der Tag an dem die Welt unterging” was again produced opulently and on their own authority and contains a lot of powerful breakdowns, nasty growls and pig squeals. Beside thunderous guitar parts and powerful drums ('3008'), the tracks have consistent electronic parts and strings ('Schiff Ahoi'). WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER, which have grown from a duo into a complete band, present themselves more mature, blast the speakers with heavy, catchy Rock-riffs ('Oh Mama mach Kartoffelsalat') or even invite you to dance ('Der kleine Vampir'). Breeee!!!

In the year 2050, after the last great world war, the little of humanity left was able to unite around science and robotics, thus creating and expanding large-scale studies for unimaginable advances based on nanotechnology.
After a few years the little left of the global eco-system could no longer bear the brunt of destructible nanopollution, the damage was unimaginable, as the nanoparticles are invisible and ended up causing a horrible worldwide catastrophe.
Animal life on earth was already limited to 10% human to 8%. All the great energy charge that was poured from the abyssal machines was affecting what was left of the organic life in a big way, the nanopollutants were merging with all the organic life and reprogramming the DNA of nature and the remaining humans.
The last great world power invested all its resources in creating artificial humanity, sentient beings created through nanorobotics programmed to reconstruct humanity through technology, but after years of trial and frustration all humanity had been extinguished thus creating the great Cyber ​​Age.
