Wonkee is the solo project of Joshua Nelson, one half of the international award winning Psy-Breaks duo, Broken Eye. 

Josh has created a hybrid sound that dares to be different, rooted in the underground but taking inspiration from the worlds of Hip-hop, Trap & R'n'B.

Over the past decade Josh has performed at a number of high profile events. In the UK highlights include shows at Noisily Festival, Anthropos Festival, Waveform Festival, No Man's Land Festival, Tribe Of Frog, Illuminaughty, Temple Movements, Planet Shroom, Bass Laboratory & Planet Zogg amongst many others.

Overseas Josh has performed at a number of high profile festivals & club nights with performances in Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Holland & France.

Launching this project in the summer of 2024, Josh has a number of mind-blowing Wonkee releases lined up for the future.

With a repertoire exceeding 70 label releases and numerous DJ mixes, Stickybuds has woven a sonic tapestry that resonates worldwide. His music has left an indelible mark, featured in blockbuster franchises like Spider-Man and Star Wars, while concurrently blasting out the sound systems of underground scenes and massive festivals.

A fixture at Canada's Shambhala Music Festival for 20 years, Stickybuds has perfected a unique DJ style, blending genres with live turntablism and impeccable selections. His annual Shambhala mixes showcase a fusion of funk, reggae, drum n’ bass, house and broken beats, adorned with exclusive acapellas, his own productions, and custom VIPs.

In 2025, Tyler is embracing his role as a dedicated father and husband, choosing family life over the grind of month-long tours and relentless release schedules. Bedtime stories and raising his young children now take priority, though he still enjoys performing at select festivals and special shows.
