NBC9 is a Canadian drum and bass producer whose sound blends atmosphere, rhythm, and precision. Releasing through Embassy 9 Recordings and DNBB Records, NBC9 focuses on clean production, strong structure, and evolving energy that moves between heavy and melodic. Each track is built for depth and replay value rather than trends.

This February 2026, he delivers Fragments 2.0, a major follow-up to the original Fragments project. The new release features remixes from @user-449697299, @Psidream, @quoonemusic, @Omneum, @brukout_ca, @iconsdnb, the-mind-hackers, @djNORTY, @YASUKI1214, @d0shi-music, and @diodeofficial— each reinterpreting tracks from State of Control through their own lens, spanning deep, dark, and high-energy variations of drum and bass. Like its predecessor, which showcased Exile, YASUKI, Xtinctor, Lunatronic, AGRO, Irontype, and JRace & Albert White, Fragments 2.0 continues NBC9’s vision of connecting global artists through shared sonic experimentation.

As the head of Embassy 9 Recordings, NBC9 has created a home for his own output as well as a space for collaborators to explore forward-thinking drum and bass. His productions are designed with a dual purpose: to resonate in personal listening settings and to hit with power on dancefloors.

Before his return to drum and bass, NBC9 built an underground reputation under the name Influenza in the early 2000s nu skool breakbeat scene. Releases on Pure Funk, Illeven Eleven, Sponge, and Epidemic reached audiences across North America and the UK, with his music played in iconic venues such as Fabric London.

Two decades on, NBC9 stands with more clarity and intent than ever, blending experience with innovation to drive a sound that continues to evolve.

In a land ravaged by war, generic bass wobbles and minimal techno, comes the story of two men. One with a deep-seated history in Drum and Bass and break beat music, the other, an extensive knowledge of the psychedelic trance realm. Born from bass and bred to party, the two have combined their forces to create an unstoppable mutating musical barrage of ballsy ballistic broken beats to scourge this generic foe and bring back all things phat, chunky and relentless.
