Quatre ans après la sortie de son deuxième album Good for You, Slim Paul revient enfin avec Your Eyes on Me, premier single d’une série à venir.
Son Blues se mêle cette fois à une machinerie plus moderne, coloré de teintes new jack swing voir electro, et révèle un titre groove et punchy. Oeuvre inspirée du classique de Sonny terry « I got my eyes on you », Your Eyes on Me en est un contre-pied et fait le constat d’une réalité douce-amère où Slim Paul témoigne de son amour à l’être qui, malgré ses fêlures et ses criants défauts, est resté auprès de lui. 


Four years after the release of his second album Good for You, Slim Paul finally returns with Your Eyes on Me, the first single in a series to come.
His Blues mixes this time with more modern machinery, colored with new jack swing and even electro tones, and reveals a groove and punchy title. A work inspired by Sonny Terry's classic "I got my eyes on you", Your Eyes on Me is an opposite and reveals a bittersweet reality where Slim Paul testifies to his love for the being who, despite his cracks and his glaring faults, remained with him.
