After trying a fair few different ideas for this remix, I eventually managed to create a really flexible bass patch using Tone2 Gladiator, and decided to let that drive the whole track, chucking in lots of variation, wobbles, filter tricks, glitches and so on. The bassline follows the chord progression of the original and some of the other remix parts layer into it nicely, with lots of dubby echoes, stutters and sonic progression for good measure. This has been driving people wild in my sets for the last 4 months, and I'm happy to be able to finally share it with you guys, hope it does the same for you! x

This is actually my third collaborative endeavour with Toby, and without a doubt the most successful. Each of the tracks we've made together over the years have been named after the roads we lived on at the time, and this track is no exception.  

We enjoyed making this track immensely, and spent the first few days of the production process playing guitar and getting merry. After two or three days of recording instruments, making sounds and jamming out ideas, I eventually took the project back to my new studio and finished it off a few days later. This track has served me very well as my set opener for some time, and has always set the mood perfectly for whats to come.

Following the success of his last release, French psy-breaks producer MARTOPETER returns to Broken Robot with a brand new EP. My first remix for Neurodriver was an absolute joy to create! It came together in about 3 days, every idea just flowing forth without effort or hesitation. I am particularly happy with this track, and the dancefloor response has been overwhelming! I recently received feedback on it from none other than HYBRID who said it was "the most rocking track we've heard all year". Stoked!

Kicking off a series of releases, World Engine / Occupied is a two track EP featuring two mainstays of our recent sets. World Engine is faster darker and harder at 137 bpm whilst Occupied is more techy and melodic but still full on psychedelic!
