Seriously crazy EP, the Virus Remix is pure filth. Loving the drive of the Martopeter remix, but the original is the one for me here. So many good ideas, great moments and lead synths that’l eat your face. Lovely stuff!

Yo yo! I'm seriously glad to finally be sharing this track with you, it took an exceptionally long time to write. This is the A-side to my next EP for Broken Robot Records, and has been my end of set track for some time. I really tried to push my knowledge of sound design to the limits during it's making and in the process learned a whole bunch of techniques that i'd simply be lost without.

Following the success of his last release, French psy-breaks producer MARTOPETER returns to Broken Robot with a brand new EP. This one feature three new original tracks, showcasing Martopeter's trademark dark, twisted psy-breaks sound. Spanish breaks maestro TOO DUSTY steps up and delivers a slamming remix of the title track Irony. All in all, this package equals pure dancefloor devastation!

The first track, “Murder Tune”, is aptly named. Tribal drums flow through the track filling listeners with the distinct and unsettling feeling that they are not only lost in a Forest, but have suddenly gone from hunter to hunted. Heavy doses of deep synth stylings penetrate the track, and unique twists on classic Dub vocal samplings fill the empty spaces, which adds to its status as a true head-banger. The track seems to move in stages, bringing the listener into and out of a haunting kind of euphoria before dropping us into a melee of buzz-saw synths.

The title track “Snake” brings us face-to-face with the realization that what hunts us is what we fear the most. Beginning with a sinister vocal narrative of the “Snake”, it slowly builds to a climax until the beat hits like a direct strike. The toxic bass of “Snake” rips through the skull and races through the body. Intermittent Hardstyle sections increase the complexity by breaking up the Dubstep beat structure and then moving us into the next phase of the track. The result is a frenetic state of bass driven insanity.

Hi folks, 

check out this sample of my next release, this one's called 'Omnia'. Omnia is a Latin word, roughly translated it means 'everything', seemed relevant given the vocal sample. I made this track quite some time ago, i'm glad to see it finally coming out! 

This track will be released tomorrow (22nd December 2014), on the mighty Liquid Records as part of the Liquid/Noisily compilation. I highly recommend checking out the other tracks on the EP, some of the best psychedelic artists in the world on one release.

2012 is nearly upon us…  Broken Records wants to celebrate the end of our planet as we know it, with a truly monumental release!

Over the past year, the inimitable Monk3ylogic, have been peeling dance floors across the globe and working tirelessly in the studio, to continue producing their unique groove drenched style. This is a track which is gonna curl your ears and bend your brain just a little too much, that it will make you giggle for all the right reasons.  The bass frequencies fill you ! The leads wash over you! The percussion cuts through you! The kick stamps all over you! And it`s only 3 minutes into the track…… Now you will just have to listen, to find out what happens at 4 minutes!   Epic from the beginning to end, that you may find it your opening, peak time and closing track for every set of 2013. This is a Monk3y future logically!

Sergio “Too Dusty” is impressing yet again, another benchmark with this release. Brilliant stabbing leads and ever rolling sub bass pushing into your head. Snappy vox melting into a break that will have you grooving without even trying,  and then with a stripped back breakdown which is full, simple and massive!!
