Thank you Bróna for sharing this on-line as I wish to cite it. I first heard this in 1978 and was delighted to hear it again and record it when BBC Radio 4 Extra repeated it in February 2016. It was an inspiration in the 1970s and 80s when I was producing short audio-stories on tape distribution and for my radio shows.

thank you for sharing this online Bróna as I have used it in citation.  I first heard this drama broadcast in 1978 and it inspired me in my own audio-drama productions in tape form and broadcast on my own radio shows in the early 1980s. I was delighted to hear BBC Radio 4-Extra air it again in February 2016.

Jazz & blues are my roots.  This is my homage to this classic from the great Bill Withers.  Re-conceptualized in bass music, futuristic midtempo fashion.  Tenor sax jams the lead, with wobbly bass, heavy beats & funky vocal chops amping things up.  Enjoy!
